A New York City native, Marilyn focuses her efforts to serve diverse underserved communities, provide mentorship for underrepresented minorities, and pursue a career in academic medicine. She is an incoming PGY-1 Pediatric Resident in Westchester, NY. She graduated from Albany Medical College in Upstate NY. She completed a B.S in Biomedical Sciences graduating cum laude from City College of New York. While at CCNY, she was a part of the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education program where she began her passion for writing and teaching through Narrative Medicine.
