What are we looking for?
We accept all forms of writing/artistry related to healthcare: scholarly articles, opinion pieces, poems, personal stories, essays, or even art pieces that represent an issue within the field of medicine or medical education that is important to you. There is no deadline for submission.
What is our timeline?
We will try our best to get back to you within a week or two and match you with an editor.

Is there a length requirement?
We accept submissions that are 1200 words or less. If you need to go over the word limit, please contact us. It may be helpful to break down longer pieces into different installments in a column.

Contributing Writers
We encourage all underrepresented voices in medicine to contribute to Mosaic in Medicine, everyone from first-time writers to experienced journalists. We welcome articles about all topics and in any style, from opinions to news reports to artistic endeavors to something completely outside of the box. We can also make recommendations or article assignments, and we encourage interviews and research to enhance your articles.
Columnists
Columnists write a minimum of two articles per semester on a specific topic or a particular theme. We are looking for dedicated medical students who are engaged and eager to join Mosaic in Medicine as columnists.
