Spandana is a fourth-year medical student at UT Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. Prior to medical school, she attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland where she realized just how vast the health equity gap is among various racial and socioeconomic groups. She hopes to help shed light on this issue by uplifting underrepresented voices at Mosaic in Medicine. Outside of medicine, Spandana enjoys baking all types of baked goods, gardening, watercolor painting, and traveling.
