Manuela is a fourth year medical student at Harvard Medical School and plans to begin her career in otolaryngology. She was born in Cali, Colombia and studied biology and English literature at New York University, where she developed a passion for narrative medicine. She hopes to integrate her love of personal narrative and patient stories into her career as a future physician.
